SYS-ED's webmaster programs provide a modular approach for the planning, creation, administration, and incremental development of a web server and e-commerce infrastructure.
| Webmaster Program | Description |
| Internet Foundations | Become familiar and proficient with the protocols, architecture, and operating environments which serve as the foundation of the Internet and e-commerce. |
| Web Design and Web Servers | Design and develop HTML pages with FrontPage, Dreamweaver, and Flash on a web server platform. |
| E-Commerce Infrastructure | Develop a scalable E-commerce infrastructure: web servers, databases, and scripting languages. |
| Application Development | Utilize proprietary and open source languages for coding applications and integration with databases. |
The assumption is that a prospective client will utilize these webmaster training programs as a framework for evaluating their operational requirements. Given the increasingly hybrid use of proprietary and open source software, there is a strong likelihood that component courses will need to be substituted with alternative software or courses from the SYS-ED search engine.
